Responsibilities

Revolution Company is now hiring for a Project Engineer for either its Little Rock or Stuttgart, AR location. Here is an excellent opportunity for someone to contribute immediately to the growth of an organization. This position requires strong project management skills to manage multiple large-scale projects at one time across various sites. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving process improvement across our blown film extrusion department to improve material utilization, output rates, set up times, and product quality.  

  • Manage projects through various stages and ensure all contractual requirements are satisfied before shipment.
  • Drive process improvement via root cause analysis, documentation, trials, and confirmation of effectiveness.
  • Continuously look for ways to increase the use of Post Consumer & Post Industrial (PCR/PIR) recycled materials in product lines on our mono layer and co-extrusion lines.
  • Research & evaluate technologies, equipment, and raw materials to improve efficiencies and boost recycled content.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to define goals and projects related to yield improvement, material utilization, and product quality.
  • Monitor and audit manufacturing processes to ensure product specifications and standards are achieved.
  • Collect and maintain formulas/recipes by SKU & extrusion line.
  • Recommend improvements to the preventative maintenance program to maximize the productive use of equipment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Polymer Engineering, or similar field required.
  • 4+ years of demonstrated experience.
  • Extensive experience with plastic recycling, improvements in equipment for plastic recycling and plastic extrusion, and optimizing the processes.
  • Skilled in project management with a hands-on approach in managing projects and working with people in a collaborative approach with other functional groups.
  • Knowledge of PLC and controls improvement and the use of automation for process improvements.
  • PM certification or lean experience highly preferred.
  • Proven communication skills with all organization levels, suppliers, and customers.
  • Proficiency in all relevant software systems, including MS Office suite.
  • Ability to travel between sites regularly.
