Revolution is looking for an IS Security Specialist. This position can be based either remotely or at our Flower Mound location. This role is responsible for providing security for all company systems. Additionally, the role will search for vulnerabilities across the organization's applications, databases, data, networks, accounts, processes, and procedures, reducing systems' liability and exposure. Keeping the organization's digital assets secure is the bottom line.

• Conduct threat and risk analysis and analyze the business impact of new and existing systems and technologies to eliminate risk, performance, and capacity issues.
• Determine risk factors and rank priorities based on the level of liabilities.
• Perform penetration testing of systems at each level and document/report results.
• Select proper testing and evaluation tools for risk identification and mitigation.
• Implement vulnerability assessment and perform internal audits of various systems per group area.
• Select KPIs and track improvement over time.
• Conduct internal testing of user security aptitude and determine the exposure level.
• Perform training to users on security practices and tailor the training based on the type of user, area of responsibility, security knowledge, and level of exposure.
• Perform changes to the system to increase their security.
• Set up access controls for interfaces and third-party applications.
• Set up access controls for vendors, customers, or any external users needing or using Revolution data.
• Expand on security policies related to standards, guidelines, and procedures.
• Improve OT Security and set stricter standards on their access and interaction.
• Improve the business continuity and disaster recovery policies by placing security at the forefront.
• Security scope will be for Networks (circuits, firewalls, LAN/WAN, VPNs).
• Security scope will be for Applications (access, versions, types, Cyphers, TPS. PCI, etc.).
• Security scope will be for Data (Database access, Data Encryption and encryption standards, Data backups, and separation of data and credentials).
• Security scope will be for Servers and Operating Systems (VMWare, Windows Server, Linux, Patching, testing, hosting SW).
• Security scope will be for user access types (MFA, SSO, Separate privileged accounts, service accounts, user count, license types, user access matrix)
• Identify improvements to processes and workflows related to physical and logical data protection.
• Travel to locations to perform assessments (up to 25%).

• 4+ years of relevant experience required working in the cyber-security field for medium to large companies.
• College degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of experience in Windows server/Active Directory and monitoring.
• Experience in networking, routing, and switching.
• Knowledge of Firewall and Firewall rules.
• CATO VPN knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of TPS, cyphers, and encryption protocols (TLS, SSL, etc.).
• Experience with MFA and its various forms.
• Experience with access control methods and options.
• Experience in OWASP testing methodology preferred.
• Extensive experience professionally documenting policies and procedures.
• Experience with AI alerting and monitoring tools from backbone to edge devices.
• Operating Systems: VMWare, Windows Server, Windows 10, Windows 11, macOS 12.
• Personable with good customer service skills, leader; willing to teach or learn new technologies.
• Ability to lead independently, prioritize tasks, and perform problem analysis alongside infrastructure team members.
