Responsibilities

Revolution Company is now hiring a Regional Sales Manager to manage sales and business development. We are looking for a proven Sales leader who is dynamic and ambitious with a passion for consistently achieving goals, targets, and revenue. This position will report directly to our VP of Sales and be involved in various activities, including developing and implementing effective sales strategies and national sales programs. This role is responsible for sales growth and profitability management within their assigned territory. The position requires strong people, planning, and project management skills. The expectation is that this position increases sales and supports the business's profitability to achieve company objectives successfully.

Though this role offers the flexibility to work remotely, the candidate is preferred to be located in the PST or CST time zone– preferably near a large airport. In addition, this position offers a competitive salary and benefits package and quarterly and annual incentives.

  • Manage current business within the assigned territory.
  • Work with Customer Support to manage daily account maintenance.
  • Gross Profit management and improvement of existing accounts.
  • Advance sales volume by studying trends, economic indicators, competitors, and supply and demand within the market.
  • Implement and manage contract reviews and renewals.
  • Identify and develop new regional and national chain account opportunities to generate profitable sales within the assigned territory.
  • Develops sales strategy to acquire new clients.
  • Executes the sale, including proposal, development, conducting presentations, negotiating pricing, and presenting the contract to close the sale.
  • Work with Operations when appropriate on new product ideas.
  • Make customer visits to ensure strong relationships and remain aware of the market and competitive conditions.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to VP of Sales on important activities, prospects, risks, and changes with existing customers and the market in general.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 
  • 5+ years’ experience in national account management, preferably in the food packaging industry.
  • 3+ years’ national account management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in developing and executing account plans.
  • Successful sales track record showing continuous growth in sales throughout career. 
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Strong references from past customers and employers.
  • Ability to self-manage and self-motivate.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
