Responsibilities

Revolution seeks an experienced and driven Regional HR Manager to lead human resources across multiple manufacturing sites. Based in Terre Haute, IN, this hands-on leadership role will oversee all HR functions to ensure alignment with organizational goals and support the manufacturing workforce. This includes managing employee relations, recruitment, performance management, talent development, and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

The role will work closely with plant leadership and production teams to drive HR initiatives, enhance workplace culture, and foster a positive, high-performance environment. This is a key opportunity for an HR leader with multi-site experience, particularly in a manufacturing environment, to significantly impact the organization’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategies with the overall business objectives of the manufacturing site. Provide expert HR guidance on issues such as employee relations, staffing, and performance management to ensure the site meets its goals.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to both employees and managers, resolving complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive, inclusive work culture. Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction.

  • Lead the recruitment efforts for the manufacturing site, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and managing the hiring process. Ensure a steady pipeline of qualified talent to meet the needs of the business.

  • Drive the performance management process across all departments, ensuring clear performance expectations, regular feedback, and performance evaluations. Support managers in addressing performance issues and employee development.

  • Support employee development and career growth by identifying training needs, implementing training programs, and fostering a culture of continuous learning. Work with leadership on succession planning to ensure future talent readiness.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including OSHA regulations. Maintain employee records, ensure proper reporting, and handle all aspects of compliance to minimize legal risks for the company.

  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring that they are successfully integrated into the company and are familiar with company policies, procedures, and safety protocols. Provide a positive first experience that promotes retention.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Previous experience in a leadership role is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and labor laws, especially in manufacturing environments.
  • Proven ability to resolve complex employee relations issues and foster a positive work environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience with recruitment, performance management, training and development, and employee engagement strategies.
  • Proficiency in HR software systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with manufacturing-specific HR tools is a plus.
  • Must be able to work on-site at the manufacturing location in Terre Haute, IN.
  • Ability to navigate the unique challenges of managing HR in a manufacturing environment, including shift work and a high-volume workforce.
